Two More For Today...

And my grand total is:...94!!! I'm SO close. Only 6 more to go to reach my goal for the year. So exciting;)

This was a lift from a woman named Sasha Farina's blog. Lal lifted this LO and I loved it so I lifted too. I love her work:) The woman's, not Lal's...LOL...You too Lal;)

The pics are from V's bday party this past month. Laney and Carolyn were in her class last year, but they are still good friends. Used CI decorative edge paper, Scenic Route pp, K&Co. Mira diecut, 7 Gypsies sticker, HS chipboard heart, adhesive gems, Stickles, Scribbles. Cut the deer with my Wishblade out of suede paper. Primas, AL buttons, Love Elsie pp to cut out the little circles. AL Whimsy Frames stamp and Studio G stamp... and the butterfly sticker is Miss Elizabeth's.

This one was a lift off of Michelle L. She is on sb.com...I'm pretty sure:) I used MM Passport and Noteworthy papers as well as a strip of Scenic Route. MM 5th Avenue diecut, Jenni Bowlin bingo card. I cut the flowers stem with my Wishblade. Used the MS lace border punch on the green strip of cardstock and the zig zag emboss one on the piece of the black Scenic Route. The little "label" underneath my diecut I cut using my Cricut Storybook cart. Man, I LOVE that cart. Definately my best buy yet. I really want the Graphically Speaking next...K...I got a little off track there:)

K...it's a little late and I'm pretty tired. I better get to bed. Thank God tomorrow is Friday:)

Something Other Than A LO...

I saw the Halloween banner that Gina posted on her blog and it totally inspired me to make one of my own:) It didn't take long at all and it looks pretty cute hanging off the mantel:)

I used my Cricut Storybook cart to cut the shapes and the letters then I decorated with the new K&Co. Halloween diecuts. I was wondering what I was going to do with all those;) I also traced inside the letters with purple Stickles.

I'm working on another LO right now. It's almost done so I will upload sometime later this evening. Gotta go finish up some dishes and start getting ready for the evening bedtime routine;)

91 & 92...

That is my current LO count. I did two today. Pretty simple and quick ones, but it's getting me warmed up and into the "mood";)

This one was all me...no lift...for once:) Pic of V and Gabby at her bday party this past month. Paper is MM Noteworthy. I've used this paper on two different LOs and now I wish I had another sheet. I really love it:) Also MM Noteworthy journaling sheet, Marcella by Kay dimensional glitter flowers, MME diecut, 7 Gypsies A La Card stickers and Sizzix cut decorative accent.Lift from my lastest issue of Scrapbooks Etc. Textured cardstock, Scenic Route pp (cut out the stems), MM Noteworthy journaling sheet, MME diecut, MM Garden Party paper flower, Imaginisce crotched flower, AL button, Love Elsie chipboard buttons. I used my Fiskars Threading Water punch to make my little "border" and 7 Gypsies A La Card stickers.

Today was Picuture Day for Victoria. Here she is this morning. She wanted to wear her hair down for pics:)

I got her this little top at Target. I LOVE the Yes clothes that they carry. The pieces are just too darn cute. This is the 3rd piece I have bought her so far. We had a lot last year, but I'm trying not to buy too much:)

I went by HL yesterday and finally found the DCWV 12x12 glitter stack that I'd been searching for for quite a while. Now I just need the perfect photo:) TFL. Have a great day:)

What's Going On in My Life...

So I'd been having some trouble with my truck. I finally took it in this morning to Pep Boys down the street. $300 is what it's going to cost me. I sure hope this is going to remedy the problem or else I'm in the hole some more:( If I have to replace the transmission, I'm looking at about $1500!!! Sooo sad:( I'm hoping I won't have to go there. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So we did that this morning then went out to breakfast. Killed some time window shopping in some stores, then called to see if the truck was ready. I dropped it off at 10am and they told me it would take 3 hours. I called back a little before 1pm and they told me it would still be a couple of hours. They said they had to let it cool off before they could work on it, so I'm looking at more like 3-3:30pm. So I'm sitting here at home waiting for the call...

I called my BFF and he's supposed to come by the house and flush the radiator. He said not to pay to have it done cause he can do it himself. It's times like this I wish I was married to a mechanic:(

So yesterday was the 911 sale. Steve took the day off. He went and dropped V off with my MIL and Mattie had stayed at my mom's on Friday cause Mark was picking him up Saturday to take him shopping for some jeans. We got there about 9am and we were like the 9th person in line. I was pretty psyched about that. I was disappointed with the actual sale though cause I really didn't get much at all. This is all I got:

Oh, and Steve bought this like office metal paper tray thingie for $1.

Afterwards I went to Scrapbook Cottage cause Gina told me they were having a storewide sale; 35% off!!! Thanks SO much for the tip, Gina:) This is what I got there:

I just LOVE the Lil' Davis Halloween stuff. I think I officially have WAY too much Halloween stuff:)

Friday I spent the day with my mom. We had gone by this one yard sale by my house and I saw this really nice, large frame that I wanted. I want to make a frame wall in my living room. I got the idea off this one woman's blog...

So anyway, it was a pretty cool frame (although afterwards my mom pointed out that is was coming apart on one edge). The lady wanted $20 for it. OMG!!! I would not pay $20 for a frame minus the glass and backing at a yard sale for $20. So I passed on it.

After SB Cottage yesterday I went by HL and low and behold as we were walking out they had frames up against the building outside and I got 3 frames for only $2 each!!! Woo hoo!!! I was SO happy and excited:) I can't wait to find some more and cut my wall together:)

Also hit BL yesterday. Came out with these (thanks to a tip from an sb.com neighbor:):

Everything was only $1!!! Then I had to stop in at SB Heaven since I was already right there:

I am really impressed with SB Heaven as of late. I never liked that store much cause the people there were not so friendly or knowledgeable and they never really had the new/current stuff in, but since the new owner took over, it's a whole other store literally. The girls are so nice and know what I'm talking about:) and everytime I go in there, there's quite a few new lines. I'm really loving it and it's kind of dangerous that it's so close (despite the upcoming move:)

That's all I have to share for now. Hope everyone has a great start to a new week:)

Two More For Me...

I got two more LOs done yesterday. I NEED to catch up to Lal!!! :)I just wasn't feeling it on this one:( I'm not too happy with the way it came out, but I'm not one of those people to take apart and LO and do over. I'm lazy that way;) Victoria gave me this really cute figurine for Mother's Day and it had this saying on it. I just loved it and knew I had to do a LO using it. I just might use it again at a later date and hopefully I'll love that LO more;) Papers are MM Noteworthy and Daisy D's, K&Co. paper lace, Cosmo Cricket chipboard letters, HS chipboard letters, Cricut cut letters, Miss Elizabeth chipboard embellie, Paper Studio cardstock stickers.I am happier with this one:) I got the idea for this one from Lal's BOS on 2Peas:) Paper is Jenni Bowlin, MM 5th Avenue journaling sheet, HS chipboard heart, MS butterfly punch, Miss Elizabeth chipboard embellies (dove and "forever" title), adhesive gems, Sizzix cut primitive heart inked with Colorbok Cat's Eye.

A few birthday pics from V's party on Sunday:

My 8 year old:)Laney, Victoria and Carolyn. Both girls were in Victoria's class last year and they are still good friends:)Making a wish:) I love using my cupcake tree. Too cute and making all those cupcakes didn't take long at all. For some reason it seems SO much easier to make cupcakes than making and decorating a cake. It took me 2 hours to decorate the cake I made for Mattie's birthday...Yikes!!!Gabby and Victoria:) They love spending time together:) They are only about a year apart.

That's all I've got for now. I want to work on making a Halloween banner today. I'd been wanting to work on one and then saw Gina posted a sneak peek of a new one she is working on. LOVE it!!!...what I can see;) Can't wait to see what the finished product looks like.

This Makes 88!!!

K...I'm in the lead again. Lal is trailing by ONE LO. I better get moving:) Here's my LO I got done today...

I LOVE this Paper Studio grid paper. I SO Need to get more while it's still on sale. I think I only got 4 sheets...maybe 8. I got some in 8 1/2 x 11 also. Other products used: KI pp (polka dot and circles), Scenic Route (black strip and stripes) and Imaginisce stamps (calendar and cupcake), Cricut cut title-All Mixed Up font.

The kids had early release today, then I ran by Walmart to get some bottled water JUST IN CASE. We aren't supposed to get too much rain and wind from Ike, but just to be on the safe side:) There really wasn't much water left. I guess others were thinking the same thing.

OMG though...the price of gas!!! I filled up on Monday at $3.38 at Walmart and decided to top off today since I was hearing that the price was going to go up because of Ike. It was $3.69!!! They are saying it's going to hit $4!!! I found gas at a Valero for $3.53 and that was for unleaded, super AND plus. They were all the same price so I topped off with the plus;)

Will update more tomorrow. Hopefully my internet won't get knocked off like it does most time we get heavy rain:(

Happy Birthday...

to Victoria. She celebrated her 8th birthday this past Tuesday:) She was really excited about taking cupcakes in to her classmates:)

We really didn't have a whole lot of time to do anything being that her birthday fell during the week and it being a school night and all. We took her to eat at Jim's and brought cupcakes to celebrate.

This was also the same night as the 2nd grade PTA performance so we had to be quick. They had to be at the school by 6:30. The performance was really cute. They sang Dr. Suess songs. I got some video footage, but not very many pictures. I always have such a time taking pictures in that cafeteria:(

Had to keep V home yesterday cause the previous night (after the birthday festivites) her allergies were really bothering her. She was up at 3am all stuffy and puffy eyed so I gave her some Benadryl and she finally got to bed about 4am so I just let her sleep in the next morning since she'd gotten so very little sleep.

She did fine throughout the day so she was back to school today although she's developed a bit of a cough now:( She made it through the day though and looked just fine when I picked her up this afternoon. Tomorrow is early release so they only have a half day.

Worked on a LO today:

Pics of V on Tuesday:) Papers are MME; some old, some of the new ones at HL. I used my MS lace border punch on the edge of the white cardstock. I had a hard time going around the corners, so I finally gave up and just did two sides then did two strips that I attached to the other two sides. I was getting really frustrated trying to figure it out:( Chatterbox chipboard number 8, Sandylion owl, MM tiny alphas. The vine/flower on the bottom left is Sizzix cut with one of my new Bigz dies:) The top left hand corner is Cricut cut from the Stretch Your Imagination cart.

We are celebrating V's birthday on Sunday at Chuck E. Cheese's. She invited 6 of her little girlfriends. So I have cupcakes to bake and decorate. Presents to wrap and goodie bags to fill before then. Whew!!! I'm tired just thinking about it all:) That's about all I have to share for now. I'll update after Sunday with party pics and maybe some more LOs. Have a great weekend.

Fall is in the Air

This morning was actually cool. It felt SO good. I drove with the windows down, which I LOVE...not good for my allergies though which have been bothering me these last few days:( With Fall's cooler weather also comes dreaded allergy season for me...boo hoo:(

The afternoons have been dreadfully hot though. Blah, blah, blah!!! I can't wait for the cooler afternoons which probably won't happen until like October or something.

Anyway...more LOs to share...

First day of school LO of V. I got the idea for this one from a woman's blog. I believe her name is Laura Vargas...her blog is callled Just Laura:) I used MME papers on textured cardstock, MM glitter border, 5th Avenue journaling sheet and diecut, 7 Gypsies A La Card sticker, Doodlebug Paper Frill, Bazzill paper flower and an epoxy brad. This one was inspired by a LO I saw on 2Peas. I used plain Kraft paper for my base, Scenic Route Appleton pp and a piece of grid paper from a previous line, Teresa Collins Journal It brackets, Lasting Impressions chipboard stars, Fiskars Squeeze Punch arrows, 7Gypsies A La Card sticker and I machine stitched on this one. I had a heck of a time with my machine yesterday though so the stitching is kind of messy:(SO in love with this one. A few weeks back I was at M's and saw the cutest wing/halo set and I knew I had to get it to do a photo shoot with V. I'd always wanted some "angel" pics. Then looking over one of my fave sb artists LOs; Allison Shubert, I ran across this LO she did of her daughter. SO perfect!!! So yesterday V and I had our little photo shoot and I got some FAB pics. This is one of MANY:)

Used here...DCWV pp in the background, Creative Imaginations Narratives, MM Chelsea's Place artisan pp and Pebble brad, Paper Studio music paper, MM 5th Avenue journaling sheet, Flair pp to cut the title out with my Cricut. Swatch book angel rubon, Prima flower and crystals and HS ghost wings.

K...I gotta run and pick up V from school. TFL
