TGIF!!!

It's the weekend finally. Although this first week of school sure did seem to FLY by. Plus we get the long holiday weekend too. Yay!!! Sleep!!!

I have two more LOs to share...This puts me at 84:)

This one I did the other day. It was inspired by a LO I saw on sb.com. The pics are from a couple of years back on Valentine's Day. I actually started to scrap these a while back, but didn't like how it was turning out. I really like the look of this one:) I used Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie pp and punchout letters, Bazzill Edge cardstock, MM Noteworthy diecut, Sizzix stem diecut and some little felt flowers with gem centers that I got at HL a couple of years back:) I also used a stamp I got at M's in the $ bin quite a while back. I colored it in with colored pencils and cut it out for part of my title:)I worked on this one earlier this afternoon after I got the kids from school. Papers are Pink Paislee and MME Wild Asparagus. I cut the big artisan frame with my Expression and DS. Butterflies are a Cuttlebug Cut/Emboss die. Sizzix cut stars from Paper Studio pp, Bazzill paper flower, gem center and adhesive gems. Best Occasion crystal flourish, French Twist journaling panel and MM Heidi black rubons. HG pin and AC Remarks alpha stickers. Another first week or school pic. I believe this one was on Thursday morning:) TFL

School's Back in Session!!!

So the kids went back to school on Monday. Can you say "woo hoo"!!!??? Sunday night went pretty smoothly. I thought for sure I was going to have a time getting V to get to bed...or should I say sleep, on time, but miraculously, she was asleep almost as soon as she laid down. Thank goodness!!!

Monday morning went just as smooth. She got up and got dressed and did everything without dragging her feet about it. Here's a few pics from that morning:

Can't remember when I last update, but we did Meet the Teacher and V got Mattie's teacher from 4th grade. She's teaching 2nd grade now. She's really nice and a very good teacher, so I was super happy about that:) I guess since the new school opened up this Fall besides losing kids they also lost some teachers who moved over there. And some of the exsisting teachers got shuffled around. Anywho...

Also got more LOs done. Not quite sure how many this puts me at. I'll update with my total when I recount;)

I finally got some "rain" pics a few weeks back thanks to all the rain we'd been getting. Not so much what I had in mind, but this is what I got. I need to work on my photography skills more. I'm really thinking about taking some classes. Anyway...Papers on here are DCWV scalloped cardstock, some pink paper from some stack, not really sure which or from where:( MME pp, Inkadinkadoo bird stamp, Chattebox chipboard alphas, Best Occasion crystal flourishes, Bazill paper flower, Prima collage flower, Papre Studio decorative brad, MM Chelsea's Place chipboard word, Cricut cut letters, AC Remarks in white and I machine stitched in zig zag on this one:)

Passport papers I was finally able to get at M's:) HS damask stamp and block alpha stickers, MM jouranling book and tiny alphas, Swatchbook rubon, MS butterfly punch and Chatterbox chipboard alphas. Thanks bunches to Lal for her "S" and "I". I had to cut another "S" out with my Cricut cause I was all out:(

The last time Lal and I were at M's we both picked up the Page Maps book (with our coupons:). This is our first LO using the book:) We both did the same sketch. I think it was page 72.

Black textured cardstock, Paper Studio pp, MME pp, K&Co. Berry Sweet stickers and chipboard, MM tiny alphas, October Afternoon journaling card, a cute cherry sticker I picked up at Target...oh...and a little bit of Sassafras Lass:)This is a lift from sb.com. Pic of V and M while we were taking a walk at the park. Daisy D's pp and diecut tag and cardstock stickers, BG Mellow pp, Scrappy Cat stamp, gingham ribbon, AL buttons.

Some goodies I picked up at HL on Monday. They are restocking their entire paper section and word is they are getting all sorts of new stuff in. I can't wait!!! :)

Some second and third day of school pics:

I gotta get some more pics of Mattie when he wears a different colored shirt or else it'll just look like the same pic over and over (he wears uniforms:)...LOL

K...I think I'm all caught up for now:)

Add One More...

I got #78 done today!!! I'm on a roll;) Lal will NEVER catch me now. Not unless she pulls an all night scrappython;)

I lifted this one off of a blog called Confessions of a Scrapaholic. I really like her work. My "Live Out Loud" LO was inspired by one of hers as well:)
Papers are MM Garden Party and an MM Embellishment paper pack I got at Target a while back. Most of the embellies are MM as well; 5th Avenue chipboard alphas and accesories and diecuts. Some Prima flowers, a polka dot Doodlebug button, some other random buttons, a Cricut cut flourish and some adhesive pearls from the T $ Spot. I found these today while shopping at T's. The buttons were in the $ Spot. They reminded me of the AC Flair:) The stickers were in the school supply section. They are TOO cute and funky;) TFL

77 for me!!!

Today I completed number 77. I am so close to reaching my 100 goal. Woo hoo!!! :)
I did this one yesterday. Lifted off 2Peas.
This is a pic of V last year during Fiesta Week. They made these hats at school for their "parade":) I used plain textured cardstock for my background. Polka dot paper is AC and the blue polka dot strip is MME. 7 Gypsies journaling card and "play" sticker, Sandylion owl, Prima and MM flowers, AC chipboard Thickers, Heidi Swapp block alpha stickers. I made my little scalloped circle using my punch and then using my circle punch to punch a circle out of some Scenic Route grid paper:) I cut the little mushrooms out of some Heidi Grace paper I've had forever. The bracket is Cricut cut and the traced with an AC marker. The border at the bottom I made with my new Cricut Storybook cart. If you have not seen this yet, you MUST take a look. This cart is AMAZING!!! It has so many cutting options!!! I got it in the mail day before yesterday and have already used it twice:)

I started on this one last night and finished it up today. This pic of from when V was in Kinder!!! Yeah, I just got around to it. It was taken on Storybook Character day. She dressed up like Cinderella:)

DCWV Once Upon a Time papers here and I used my cart to cut the title, the vine and the little bird. The gold swirly thing was handcut from one of the DCWV papers. Added some lace with gold staples, Prima flower and adhesive gems to the centers.

Some other goodies I got in the mail on Monday. Jenni Bowlin MINI bingo cards:) I can't wait to play with these. I totally LOVE all things Jenni Bowlin;) TFL

FYI...

Busy, busy, busy...Been trying to get everything together for the beginning of school which is just around the corner. We spent today doing some more clothes shopping. I really didn't have much for V. I wasn't finding too much that I liked. I had picked up a few things at Old Navy and a couple of things at Target, but for the most part, I didn't have much.

Today we went back to Old Navy. I heard on the radio that they were having a 40% off kids clothes sale. I found so many cute things for her and kept it at a little under $100. I might go back later in the week and pick up a couple more things at those prices, but we are pretty much set. I do need to pick up a few pair of leggins for some cute little dress type tops we got there and we still need to get shoes, but that's it;)

Mattie's stuff is easy. He has to wear uniforms so I'm waiting on a good sale. Mark took him shopping today and bought him 3 pants and 3 shirts, a belt and a pair of Nike's. We had agreed that he would help me with half and although he's SUPPOSED to me out... It's part of his job too (although he usually doesn't), I'm really grateful that he did. It lightens my load a good bit:)

We took in a movie this Sunday as has become our tradition of sorts. We saw the new Batman. It was really good. 2 1/2 hours long, but well worth it.

I went by M's and they finally got in the MM Passports papers. Or at least most of them. There was still like 3 empty slots. They put the line out about 2 weeks ago, except for the papers. Also a couple of the embellishments were missing like the tags and like two other things. I need to check back later in the week cause I want the journaling tags and I might get the canvas brads:)

They also have all sorts of new K&Co. Halloween/Fall stuff. I got a pack of diecuts today, but the other day I picked up a diff pack of the diecuts. Also a pack of some MAMBI Fall diecut/specialty papers. They have new MAMBI stuff too.

Lots of Martha Stewart Halloween stuff. There are some really cool Halloween border punches, but I really don't see myself getting much use out of them. I mean, really...how many Halloween LOs can you do??? :) They are cool though:)

I went by my Mom's yesterday then me and Lal went to Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's and M's. My mom kept the kids so we had a nice little break:) Guess what I found at HL??? Prima Say it in Crystals!!! They were $6.99, but I used my 40% off coupon so I got them for less;) They also had some really cute new Cosmo Cricket stickers sheets to match the lines. Unfortunately stickers weren't on sale this week:(

Well, not much else going on here. I don't have any new LOs to share at the moment, but I am anticipating I will soon.

25 More to Go...Woo hoo!!!

Got one more done today. That puts me at 75 LOs. Only 25 more to go to reach my year goal. Woo hoo!!!

Black textured cardstock, KI background paper (green w/polka dots). Scenice Route grid paper and number "strip". I cut the flowers out of a sheet of AC Play paper for the "border" along the left side. The multicolored polka dot paper is also AC Play. MME striped strip that I edged with my Threading Water punch. Stamped an AL flourish onto cardstock and then cut it out for my flower "vines". Flowers are DCWV Box of Posies except for the red one that I punched out with one of my daisy puches. Sizzix cut pocket, tickets from a roll I have:), AL circle stamped onto cardstock and punched out as well. AC chipboard Thickers in Jewelery Box font (LOOOVE that font)!!!, HS block alpha stickers and Circus Rose Dance Card:)

These last two LOs really aren't quite my style; bright colors, not so "vintagey"...but I am really liking the look. Very fun and bright:) TFL
