Spur of the Moment

Inspiration struck out of nowhere today:) Browsing the gallery on sb.com I came across a LO by SJ Luvscrappin and was immediately inspired to do this LO.

I finally got around to using some of the papers in my Wild Asparagus paper pad I got at HL. I am loving those papers:) Other things used: BG flourish rubon, Lil' Davis Crillion stamp, Lil' Davis chipboard alphas, Prima Sprites and Isabella, Paper Studio cardstock alpha stickers, some lace, some buttons and some brads I got in the Target Dollar Spot. I'm on a Lifting Roll:)

Two more for today...lift inspired of course;)This one was inspired by Pammy on sb.com. I used the new Rusty Pickle School Daze line...LOVING it!!! Mattie's sixth grade pic from last year. FINALLY got around to it, but I am loving how it looks with these papers. I used Dena's Closet alpha rubons for the title and the brackets are Sizzix cut with my new Big Kick and Dingbats die:) The arrow is Scenic Route. Finally used one of those too:) The small cardstock stickers bordering the right side are Karen Foster.
This one was inspired by a LO on 2Peas. The green background paper and the big dot paper are Basic Grey Color Me Silly. The orange and pink polka dot pp is MME Everyday Tango...Doodlebug Simply Sweet cardstock alpha stickers and Birthday cardstock stickers, Paper Studio cardstock alpha stickers, 7 Gypsies journaling card, Lasting Impressions chipboard stars, Autumn Leaves flourish stamp, Studio G star cluster stamp. TFL

Two New Ones...

Finally got some scrapping done. It had been quite a while. I worked on the first one at the beginning of the week. I had just gone by Target last weekend and picked up the new MM Halloween pp pack and I used it right away...that's a first. I like when I buy supplies and actually use them right away. Usually I just buy, buy, buy and then just put things away and forget what I have just bought. So here it is:
This is Mattie last year at Halloween. I couldn't get any inspiration to scrap this pic, but I saw a LO on 2 Peas that I just loved. It also used the MM papers. I just LOVE the design of this pp. I cut it out of the 12x12 sheet. It was bordered in a black. All papers here are MM Halloween. The alpha stickers are all AC Remarks...rubons are Paper Studio and I used an MM chipboard star button in the center of the "O" in force.

This next one is a pic of Victoria last year. We bought her this Cinderella dress up costume for Christmas. Here she was dancing with Steve in the kitchen...too cute:) Finally got around to scrapping this. I did the pic in sepia. This is also a lift off of 2 Peas. Paper is MME Bohemian. I used my Lil' Davis crillion stamp set to make the "design" in the upper left corner; stamped on MME Bohemian solid paper and then cut it out. I think the pp with the music notes is Lil' Davis, chipboard swirl is Fancy Pants Big Chipboard, chipboard letters are Lil' Davis, rubons are MM-white Heidi , pearl brads by Marcella by Kay and a piece of lace I got from Dana on our private site. I dry brushed with a light blue paint and then used my Autumn Leaves journaling stamps. The journaling is part of the lyrics to a song by Lee Ann Womack called "I Hope You Dance".

So I actually used quite a few things from my stash that I'd had for a while; the paper for one, the chipboard letters, the pearl brads and the Fancy Pants swirl. Another good thing...using up some of my stash:)

Catching Up...

This past Sunday we celebrated Victoria's 7th birthday. I can not believe she is 7 already. Time sure does fly.
We "booked" her party at a place called Parties to go by Jo. It is right by our house; at the corner of Bandera and Guilbeau...next door to Scrapbook Heaven. I just LOVED it. I would totally recommened it to anyone needing a place for a kiddie party. It was fab!!! Everything I used to do and would do, but didn't have to:)
We invited 7 little girls. The cost was $17 per child, but it included alot so very well worth it:)
We arrived a little before 1pm which is when the party was planned for. We were allowed to bring in outside food so we picked up pizzas at Cici's and brought in our our drinks as well.

Everything was set up so nice. There is an area for parents to sit and that is where there is a table for setting up your outside food and an area for the presents; very cute. Parents can sit in this area and watch their child through a "window" that looks into the party room in back.

At the entrance to the party room they had a "banner" type sign; like those rope thingies on the red carpet. That was so no one without their "backstage" pass could get it:) They had me email them a pic of Victoria and they made the cutest backstage passes for the girls to wear to get it:)

In the party room there was all sorts of glittery, shiny things; CD and disco balls hanging and two GREAT photo op spots all dressed up. They had a vanity table complete with lights for thier mini make-overs and two small tables set up for the activities, crafts, etc. all dressed as well.

The girls got to pick out dress up costumes as soon as they got there, then they worked on their craft which were microphones; WAY cool craft an easy for them to do. Afterwards, they got to have their nails done and then their hair and make up. They were each given a hairpiece for thier hair that they got to keep and a really cute hairbrush.

They had a karoke machine set up and the girls sang to Hannah Montana and danced. It was so cute and they were all having so much fun:) They also played a hot potato type game that they girls just LOVED!!!

The place provided the cupcakes (they had a cupcake "tree") and juice boxes, but I made a cake as well so they sang to her twice:) After their cake and cupcakes we did presents and then after, they had Victoria sign "autographs" on their backstage passes...too cute.

They all got filled goodie purses which they provided as well, but we had some of our own to pass out too.
It really was an excellent experience. We'll definately be "booking" future parties there. I also applied for a job so I might be working there soon:)

Here's a few pics from the day. For some reason my computer has not allowed me to download all my pics and video from that day so I gotta try that again later casue it was really frustrating me:(
Pic of the birthday cake:)
The goodie cups we made for the girls:)

I'll upload more pics as soon as I can get them dowloaded. I finally got around to doing a LO this afternoon, but I'm not quite done. I'll upload that as soon as I get done.

It's Saturday...

I have been so exhausted the last couple of days. Last night I was in bed well before 10pm so I was up pretty darn early this am:)

Tomorrow is Victoria's Rock Star party. I have already baked the cake this morning and wrapped some more presents. Need to fill the goodie bags. I am still short one pack of the Hannah Montana favor boxes so I have to go ISO today and pray that I find a pack to complete them. Sure wish I had the Expression right now and the Boxes cart:) LOL

I also need to go dig through my party totes in the garage and pull out some favors and stuff from in there. I hate going out there, but I really need to get some of those things out of there and put them to use:)

Did a little shopping yesterday for some last minute things I needed for tomorrow and ran into these awesome sb goodies in the Target Dollar Spot. Too cool for a buck!!!

Oh, and these really cool new Autumn Leaves stamps sets. They were only $1.99!!! There was like eight different sets, but some I didn't care for and some I already had something similar:)Well, I've got lots to do today. Last minute things to accomplish for tomorrow and I gotta run to my mom's and take her grocery shopping. Busy day. I'll upload pics from the party as soon as I can.

After the Long Weekend

The kids are back in school today after our long Labor Day weekend. I was really hoping to sleep in over the long weekend after getting up at 6am all last week, but that did not happen. Not one single morning. The kids were up at or before 6am every day!!! Of course, today I had to MAKE them get up. Funny how it works that way.

We have another wet morning. We have been getting so much rain; at least more than we are used to.

I spent Saturday over at my mom's and my cousin went by with his wife and their new baby. He is so tiny and the cutest thing ever. I had seriously been getting the baby urge and couldn't wait to see him and hold him...I think I have it worse now:(

I hadn't seen my cousin in a while. He is in El Paso going to school for the border patrol. He will be done in October. He was just home for the long weekend and to see the baby cause he wasn't home for the birth:(

Sunday I went by Michael's to use my 50% off coupon and as I was leaving the store I checked in the "cage" at the front with the Sizzix dies. Last week they had alpha sets marked down to $40. Well, they were marked down to $9!!! I picked up the upper and lower case Doodleblock that I had been wanting forever:)

Yesterday I went by a different one and picked up Ransom for $9 as well. I wasn't able to find the Fun Serif I saw last week so I am going to try to hit the last one I didn't get to and see if they have anything left.

Went by 911 and picked up the Rusty Pickle Mayflower and Pirate Princess papers. Can't wait to use them.

I am in the process of planning Victoria's bday party for this weekend. There is a party place on Bandera/Guilbeau; next to Scrapbook Heaven. They offer a Rock Star make over party theme; perfect for the Hannah Montana theme Victoria wanted:) It's $15 per child so I have to call today and make sure we can get in for Sunday.

Well, I've got lots of catching up on housework and laundry to do today after the three days off. Hopefully I'll get some scrapping time later today. I still have not been able to install my new pritner software:( I think I'm going to have to get someone to come look at the computer to get it on.

Back To School

So last week we did Meet the Teacher for Victoria. She will be in Ms. Brossard's class this year. Her teacher seems really nice. She is really young. Victoria liked her:)

We did orientation for Mattie. There is no longer bus pickup/drop-off for our area:( He will be taking Spanish this year. He is now a 7th grader:) One more year and then it's off to high school. Yikes!!!

So the first week of school is almost officially over. Everyone has been doing really well with the adjustment of schedule and such. No big problems yet; everything is running smoothly:)

Things here at home "solo" have been a little boring to say the least. On Tuesday I went by my mom's and took her to run an errand then me and Lal went out to lunch with Jav. I picked up the kids and then drove Lal back to my mom's.

Other than that, I haven't really done much or gone anywhere. I spent Monday cleaning up the house and tomorrow I need to run and do some grocery shopping for next week.

I went by Scrapbook Heaven yesterday evening and picked up some of the new Elsie Jack & Abby and some of those really cute Daily Dose journaling cards. Oh, and last weekend I finally caved and bought the Big Shot. I am going to sell my old Sizzix (which is still in excellent condition;) at the 911 yard sale in September...which reminds me...I have to start purging, pricing and boxing what I plan to get rid of.

Victoria's birthday is coming up at the beginning of next month so we need to finalize what we plan on doing to celebrate. She wants to invite along some girlfriends to go somewhere or do something:) We bought some cute little Hannah Montana goodie boxes to give out:) I really need to get on the ball with that. I have lots of gifts to wrap and invites to write out, etc. etc.

I finally motivated myself to do a little bit of scrapping today. Of course it's a lift...another one from Mama2my3princes on sb.com. I just LOVE her work. It's just so fab!!!

The notebook paper is Karen Foster and the white "letter" paper is KI...Bazzill Edge and textured cardstock, Heidi Swapp bookplate and chipboard alphas in black and ledger. I used my first Bigz die for the arrow and the button is Doodlebug. Oh, that strip of striped pp is Karen Foster as well; last years school line:)

On Monday Victoria lost a tooth and the Tooth Fairy totally forgot to pick it up. So she put it under her pillow again and wouldn't you know it...She forgot AGAIN!!! ...(boy did I have some guilt:()

Last night while brushing her teeth her other loose tooth came out as well. She has a tendency to lose her teeth in pairs:) So she got to put TWO teeth under her pillow and the Tooth Fairy FINALLY came and left a whopping $20 for being so late to pick up the first tooth. She was REALLY excited about that this morning:)

What I Did Today...

Boy, did we get some awful rain yesterday. We were stuck inside the house all day:( I wanted to get some scrapping done, but I couldn't get my printer to work and my computer was running REALLY slow:(

Today we woke to a few clouds and the sun finally broke through so I made a trip out to Walmart to look at printers. I got another HP. This one is soooo cool. You can actually print off the memory card without being hooked up to the computer. And the quality is AWESOME!!!

So I got my pic printed today and I worked on this LO. It's a lift off of Robinberdz (not sure of the spelling) from sb.com.

I used a Heidi Swapp ghost butterfly and traced it onto some Cosmo Cricket Dutch Girl pp and cut it out with my Cutterbees. I added gems to the center. All papers are Dutch Girl:) TFL

These Days...

Today I received my license in the mail!!! Since I took the test, I had the temporary paper one and today I got my official license. Pretty cool:)

I have been driving around quite a bit. Monday I hit Hobby Lobby first thing in the am to pick up some of the Spare Parts stuff that is half off; cool little canisters of silk blooms and some cool embellies.

Also picked up the new Wild Asparagus paper pad that HL got in. Didn't have that one yet:)

Tuesday I went to my mom's and took her to run her errands. My mom took us out to lunch and then I headed back home.

Yesterday was my unmotivated, "chill" day. Just hung out at home and did pretty much nada, but today I called Lal up to see if she wanted to to run around with me so I went and picked her up. I went back to HL to get a couple more canisters of those silk blooms. I opened the ones I bought the other day and I just LOVED them. There are three different shaped blooms in three differnt shades of the color in each canister. I went back and got the pinks and yellows.

Went by Big Lots and found all these cool KI goodies that ppl over at sb.com were talking about.

Went next door to the Dollar Tree and picked up some of those foam thickers and stitched rubons for a friend of mine up in Michigan;)

Here's some really cool chipboards I found at DT last week. I kept hearing ppl on sb.com mention them, but I couldn't find them at any of the DTs here. Finally found them!!! They are the same ones that HL carries; Paper Studio, for $3.99!!!

Think that pretty much sums up what I've been up to. Hopefully get some scrapping done with all this new stuff I have bought:)

More LOs from Crop Night

Totally forgot to upload my two other LOs from crop night.

I found this one on sb.com. Someon posted premade LOs they were selling on ebay. I finally used some of my MME Magnolia. I find it so hard to use that pad. These are pics of my son last year at the coast on his boogie board.

A lift from Scrapbooks Etc. Opened up my Phoebe pack:) The corner rubons are Paper Studio. The rubon is Phrase Cafe (and it shifted on me while I was rubbing so my title is kind of off:(, Prima flowers, mini brads, Chatterbox chipboard letters, Scrapworks Shimmer Shapes flower. The notebook paper is Paper Studio. I cut the scallop and made the tiny holes with a hole punch:) TFL

New LO

Something I worked on yesterday and finished up last night. It's a lift off of sb.com. I love the "threading" of the ribbon. Good use of ribbon and eyelets that I don't normally use:)

I used Lil' Davis chipboard letters, Doodlebug blooms and some Rusty Pickle buttons. Not sure who makes the little flower button though. I cut my silhouette hearts using my Cricut and some MM glitter adhesive paper I got at 911 a while back. The "coaster" stamp is Autumn Leaves and the notebook paper is Paper Studio.

I went by HL yesterday to get some textured cardstock and I found all sorts of new Spare Parts goodies; canisters of silk blooms, all sorts of shaped and gem brads, clock faces...lots worth checking out. I hope they are on sale next week:)

Let's Celebrate

So I had thought long and hard about how I wanted to commerate the big day; the day I got my license. So yesterday afternoon, I went and did it. I got my new tattoo:) I got a butterfly on my hip. The butterfly symbolizes the big change and changes that are to come; my "metamorphasis" if you will. I really like the way it came out. It's small, not as big as the other one I have, but it's pretty and simple:)

So today I ran some errands solo. This was my first time since I became an official licensed driver other than the few times to the neighborhood pool. I ran to Walmart to return a couple of things and pick up some bottled water and a new filter for the turtle tank and a couple of things we needed for the house. Then I ran by Big Lots and Dollar Tree. Didn't really get much there. Then it was back home. Other than missing my turn and having to go a little further down and a different way, it was a successful trip:)

License to Drive

Today was the big day. Got up early this am and headed down to the DMV. There was alot of ppl there already and lots of ppl in line to take their driving test. I had to pull the car up and wait in "line" for quite a while. It was pretty nerve wracking.

As I sat there watching the others go ahead of me, only one girl got the parallel parking. No one else did it and one guy messed up real bad. I felt really bad for him.

So my turn came up. Thank God, I got this really nice deputy to drive with me. He was very warm and friendly and that made me feel so much more comfortable. The other deputy looked like a real meanie:(

So I nailed my parallel parking and the rest of the test went real well. I passed!!! So I am now officially a licensed driver!!! :)

I would just like to thank all of my friends and family who have been so encouraging and supportive throughout my "learning process". I couldn't have done it alone and I am forever grateful:) So "THANKS":)

Send me prayers and good wishes, PUUULLLEEEEASEEE

Tomorrow is the day. Tomorrow is the day I am taking my driving test. I am a little nervous...OK, I am alot nervous. So nervous it is upsetting my stomache. I am so afraid I am not going to pass. I'd like to say I am good under pressure, but I'm not sure that I am.

I drove around ALL day today; did all of our "errand driving"...groceries, some back to school clothes shopping at Walmart and Target and the movies (took the kids to see the Simpsons movie). I also went by the DMV and practiced my parallel parking again and nailed them all. I just KNOW I'm gonna mess it up tomorrow though. I REALLY hope I don't, but I take it that's the way it works...I probably won't mess up until it really matters:(...but I'm praying I won't:)

I spent the last few days over at Lal's. Drove over there on Thursday. We did our monthly crop on Saturday which was SO much fun. Pretty much everyone who was going to come showed up. Even Gina stopped by just to say "hello" and had her two beautiful little girls with her;)

I got quite a few LOs done. I still need to put a few finishing touches on them, so I am going to wait and post the updated pics instead. I do have a big of our little scrapping group though. My pic didn't come out very well, not sure what I had my camera set at. I always get the worst pics. I hope someone else's pics came out better so I can bum those instead:)

From the front of the line to the back: Karen, Sharon, Michelle, me, Lal, Shirley and Melissa. One of Sharon's friends also scrapped with us and my sis' niece, but they didn't get in the pic:(

OK...here's one of the LOs from Saturday night that I DID complete. I lifted this idea from the last issue of Memory Makers. The second I saw the LO, I knew I had to lift it. I love the Creative Imaginations scalloped edged papers. Other papers I used here were Daisy D's and MME. The hearts are HS chipboard and some Sizzix cut that I painted with my MM paint. The arrow rubon is Daisy D's.

This is another lift from that same issue of Memory Makers. I used all Elsie papers, some gems, an AC metal tile, a QuicKutz die cut purse and a chipboard heart I made myself:) Also a MAMBI bling crown and Doodlebug Simply Sweet cardstock alpha stickers.

This is a lift from Kelly Goree on sb.com...I can't recall her exact name on sb...Mamato3princes. I LOVE the Elsie fabric paper and the whimsical look of this LO. The title is from the Dr. Suess book as is the quote from the book at the bottom of the LO. Also used textured cardstock, some chipboard buttons I made myself:), Doodlebug Simply Sweet cardstock alpha stickers, some random buttons and a the plane is from those stitched rubons I found at the DT last week:)

TFS and PLEASE don't forget to keep me in your prayers for tomorrow's test. I'll update tomorrow. Hopefully it will be good news:)

Rain, Rain and More Rain

My goodness, this rain has not let up. I was just hearing on the radio that the rain is supposed to continue through the ENTIRE week!!! I do like the fact that the rain keeps away the heat, but I am growing a little tired of all this water:(

I weighed in this morning and I am 2.5 lbs away from my new goal weight!!! I am still working out everyday even though some days I really don't want to, but once I'm on my machine and hooked to my Ipod, I am so glad I did. It's like my personal destressing time. I can be alone with my music and take all my stress out on the machine:)

I've incorporated some other exercises into my routine. Besides the crunches and thigh master thingie I was doing before, I am also doing a little bit of weights and I added in some leg lifts yesterday. I really wish there wasn't all that junk in the garage so I could work out more with the weight bench and all.

Moving on...just wanted to share some pics of the Dollar Tree finds I picked up the other day.

These look just like the AC Foam Thickers. I wish they had the chipboard ones at DT:) These rubons look like the Paper Studio ones HL carries. And the metal "tiles"...AC again. TFL

What Happened to Monday??? Where is Monday???

So yesterday I drove around some more. I drove quite a bit of Bandera. That is something I hadn't really done yet that I wanted to do before I take my test. It really wasn't bad at all. Now all I gotta do is drive De Zavala. For some reason, these two streets have been a bit of an intimidation for me. I am pretty sure I have driven busier streets, but something about these two...???

Anyway, I went down Bandera to the HL off Huebner...bought a pack of paper with my coupon and picked up an application.

As much as I hate to say this cause it makes me feel like a total traitor, I drove down Bandera to Scrapbook Heaven. Picked up a sheet of Elsie fabric paper for crop night and an application. I would LOVE to work at 911, but it's a little out of my way. This location is just alot more convenient. Anyway...I am standing at the counter while the woman is ringing me up (she was a bit confused as to what the price of the paper was...I could have told her. I pretty much know how much everything sb related costs;)...So anyway, I'm standing there and I look down into this little ceramic pot thingie on the counter and there they were!!! Signo pens!!! I almost screamed...seriously. I even gasped out loud...LOL...the lady asked if I was OK...LOL...I was like, "OMG!!! I have been looking for this pen FOREVER!!! So I picked up two. There was only one left and she said that was it...no more in stock. I might pick it up today when I go drop off my application;) I am sure Lal wants one.

So after the sb store, I went across the parking lot to the Dollar Tree. Picked up a few things in there that I hadn't intended on buying. They had some really cool stitched rubons and foam alphas like the AC Thickers. Oh, and these metal tile thigies...also AC. Picked up an application there too. The girl who rang me up said she had JUST started working there and not to get discouraged if they didn't call right away. She said they'd probably call me by the time school starts up again:)

So after that, I drove to the DMV to practice my parallel again. I really need to be nailing every single one. It has to be just perfect...I wish I wasn't such a perfectionist. I just really want to do well. I am taking my test this week and I am freakin' out a bit. I need someone to talk me back down:)

Looks like rain again today. I have to admit, I kind of like the rain better than the horrible heat we had this past Sunday...Whew, it was HOT!!! The only time I dislike the rain is when I have to drive...LOL

It's Friday!!!...Who cares???!!!

So an update on my driving progress...In the last couple of days I have driven:

all the way to Scrapbook 911...from Babcock to Huebner to Bitters to Blanco:)
to Fiesta Texas to pick up my stepson
to my inlaws to pick up the kids; over by the Jefferson area

I have been driving alot more and alot more often. I am getting more comfortable with the whole thing. I am anticipating getting my license next week.

On my trip to 911, I picked up the new Basic Grey Infuse. I LOVE that paper!!! I have a tendency to "collect" the BG and not use it. I have yet to open my Phoebe or Perhaps. I did however open my Scarlet Letter for a "special" project I am working on:) Only certain things are good enough for BG;)

Not much else going on around here. Still trying to find a job:( Hopefully I'll be able to find one by the time the kids go back to school or not long after.

Happy Birthday to Matthew. We celebrated Matthew's 13th birthday on Sunday. His actual birthday was on Saturday. I am now officially the mother of a teenager.

We took him to go see the new Harry Potter movie at the Palladium and then to lunch at Red Robin's. We met my inlaws there and did the whole "cake and presents" thing. He was pretty happy with it all.

Here's a couple of pics:)

They surprised Matthew at Red Robin's with a free birthday sundae and the whole restaurant joined in singing him "Happy Birthday".

Here's a pic from the movie theatre. Last time we were there, they had this display up, but you couldn't get close enough. I guess from this pic you can see why. Someone obviously broke off the arm of Homer Simpson:( But the kids were really excited to sit on the "couch" to take the pic.Found some really cool new goodies at Hobby Lobby. Take a look:

Hobby Lobby has got a whole line of new Elsie stuff in!!! :) Paper packs, cardstock sticker, rubons, stamps, ribbons and albums. Right now all paper, stickers and rubons are half off. I got mine at the Bandera/Huebner one; in Leon Valley. They had an entire end cap with all the Elsie stuff. The one over on Rogers Rd. didn't have as much, but I am pretty sure all the stores are getting them in. I got the tip from a post someone posted on Two Peas. I really only go on there to browse the gallery, but for some reason I wandered into the message board and luckily found the thread with pics;)

I drove and dropped the kids over at the pool down the street this morning. Getting in some more driving practice. Hopefully I will be going to take my test next week. I have not been able to get a hold of my bf about the replacement part for the light on the van. My aunt said she's take me and I could use her car to take my test. I just gotta drive her car around a bit since I am used to driving our big van:)

The Sweet and The Sour

Well, the driving had been going really well. I have been nailing all my tries at parallel parking. Everything was looking really good. So yesterday Steve gets home early and wants to take the kids to the pool. So I drove them there. I hung around for a bit and took some pics and then I came back home and he said to go back for them in a while. So I drove home alone, hung out and then started to head back. So backing out of the driveway, I assume I underestimated my space and right before I turned out, I caught the end of the work truck with the front of our van:( No hard, not bad, but I did manage to break the light on the front of our van.

Luckily, my friend works for NAPA and has connections so he is in the process of helping me get that replaced. I need to have that fixed by Monday so I can go take my driving test.

I will admit that one little incident has also put in a dent in my confidence, but I know I need to keep pushing forward and be thankful it wasn't something bigger. I just need to get right back in there. So I will try again today and go practice my parallel parking some more:)

Upside...I have been religiously keeping to my workout routine. I have however; also been allowing myself a little too much freedom in the diet department, so I had not lost any more weight. Starting the day before yesterday and I got back on track and I have lost one more lb. putting me at my first goal weight!!!

I am hoping the last five lbs won't take too long to take off. I am thinking if I stay on track it should go smoothly since I had plateaued for a bit, I should be able to take off 3lbs fairly easy right off. The last two might take some work.

I got a little scrapping done yesterday...a LO for a challenge for our Yahoo group. It was a five product challenge.

We were to use only five products. Mine were:patterned paper; Basic Grey Romani, Scrapworks rubons, Doodlebug cardstock alpha stickers, American Craft felt flowers and various brand buttons. TFL

Big News

So I finally made my first "big drive". I drove all the way to Lal's house on the Fourth!!! That is the furthest I have driven so far. I was sooo psyched!!! I have about a week to go and take my driving test. So maybe the next time I blog, I will officially be a licensed driver:)

I spent the evening over there with her. Miguel did fireworks with the kids and I took some pics. It rained a little, but not too bad. Eric and Cari went over for a little bit.

We spent the night and the next as well. Elijah was home for a visit so Victoria had someone to play with and they had alot of fun. We took them out to jump on the trampoline and they had a blast:)

Didn't get any scrapping done cause I didn't have time to pack anything, but we are cropping in a couple of weeks anyway.

Mattie's bday is coming up on the 14th so we are taking him out to eat and to the movies. I still have a little bit of shopping to do; just a couple of things.

I'll post some pics a little later. I gotta catch up on some laundry and housework and I desperately need to workout cause I missed two days while I was over at Lal's:(
